What Does This Part Do?
Brake shoes are curved friction linings used in drum brakes. When you brake, the wheel cylinder pushes the shoes outward against the inside of the rotating drum, creating friction that slows the wheel. They also hold the car when the handbrake is applied.

Over time, this part wears out or gets damaged — leading to common issues like:
- Handbrake needing to be pulled higher than usual to hold the car
- Scraping or grinding noise from the rear wheels
- Car pulling to one side while braking

How To Use This Product
- Match your vehicle with the compatibility table below
- Lift the rear of the car safely and remove the wheel and brake drum
- Note the spring positions, then remove the old shoes
- Clean the backing plate and check the wheel cylinder for leaks
- Fit the new shoes and springs in the same positions
- Refit the drum, adjust the shoes and handbrake cable
- Test the brakes and handbrake at low speed before normal driving
